This Mom contacted me months ago and said she really wanted an outdoor maternity photo shoot, and we were certain it would snow and we would be in the middle of white fields. We actually had a pretty warm Autumn and have only had a few really cold days this Winter. So the day was coming up and snow was out of the question. We then thought about going to a park with plenty of nature options. But then we changed once more since she had the great idea of somehow including Munich in her photos.
So we met by the Isar, the river that crosses the city, and started with some photos there. It wasn’t snowing but editing can do magic! Then we walked a bit until we got to Friedensengel, a very well-known monument in the city. We talked about making some shots with a bit of drama, and the place was perfect because of those old and wide stairs. I love that she got to wear my red hat! I had bought it a year before hoping to use it in a photo shoot and I finally did it!
I must say they were so lovely to work with! They are very easy-going, friendly, smiley and open to all my ideas! I can’t wait to photograph their baby in a few weeks…
