What to expect before, during and after your session
Before
During our pre-consultation via email, we will discuss your vision for the session and we will choose a date and a location. Some Moms prefer my cozy home studio located in Haidhausen, Munich, and others love to shoot at their favorite location. If you prefer to be surrounded by nature, let’s find the perfect spot to capture that beautiful bump! Travel fees apply for greater Munich and surrounding areas.
Once all the details are finalized, a contract and a €100* retainer fee invoice will be sent to hold your date. The deposit is non-refundable and the payment and signed contract must be received within 1 week from the session booking date.
The smaller package is for Mommy only. If you would like to include your partner and/or child/children, you will be getting the bigger package.
Studio sessions come with your choice of up to 2 background colors. You may choose between white, cream, brown or black. To see which colors you love the most, you can go through my collection of maternity portraits.
I have a lot of maternity outfits, including dresses, tops, skirts and robes. We will go through them before the session. Please let me know if you would like to bring any outfits of your own, and you are welcome to send me snap shots for me to give you feedback on them. Please have your own underwear and strapless bra in white, black and neutral ready.

Combining outfits and backgrounds, we will have up to 4 different style settings. That way you will have a variety of colors, textures and poses.
Studio sessions last approximately 1,5 hour. Outdoor sessions are usually under 1 hour long.

If you need to receive your gallery earlier, a rush-delivery fee of €50* will apply to receive it within 3 business days. Exceptions apply when the photo shoot is close to dates in which I will be on holidays, and therefore it will take longer for me to deliver the gallery to you.
The photos will have a watermark and a number. From the moment I send you the link to your gallery, you will have 14 days to choose your photos. After these 2 weeks your gallery will be erased and a €25* fee will apply to upload it again.
An invoice for the final payment will be sent to you and your images will be made available to you via Dropbox after the payment is received. A CD or USB stick will also be mailed to your home within the following 2-3 weeks.
The photos you receive will be high resolution, top quality, watermark-free, ready-to-print images. Prints, wall art decoration and other products are available upon request.

How old should the baby be? For outdoors and at-home sessions, the decision is yours! For studio sessions, newborns must be under 10 days old. Otherwise, we will have to wait until the babies can be on their tummy and hold themselves up on their own.

Studio sessions come with 3 different settings: 1 with a beanbag and 1 with light or dark wood for the baby, and 1 with a plain background for family photos. Baskets, buckets, prams, and boxes are also available in the studio.
I have a lot of hats, pants, diaper covers, wraps, blankets, etc. and we can use them all in the studio sessions. For outdoors and at-home sessions, I will make a selection based on your baby’s gender and age and will bring them along.

Your baby’s needs for feeding and comforting will be respected at all times. Bottle or breastfeeding portraits may also be included.
Studio sessions last between 3 and 4 hours. At-home and outdoor sessions are usually 2 hours long.

This session is about showing the beauty of your body, regardless if it is ‘imperfect’ according to today’s society rules. If you have scars or marks after an illness, pregnancy or birth, this is the chance for you to get them captured

Tammy has an outgoing and easy-to-like personality, which made all of us relax in front of the camera. She is also patient, and even though we finished the shoot pretty quick because of the low temperature, she never hurried it along. She gave us all that extra time we needed to fuss with the kids, keep them warm and feed the youngest one. I was also impressed by the easy way she worked with our baby. The photos are amazing! Our baby boy, slept through most of the session, so I thought those pictures might be a bit boring. But Tammy managed to get out some different perspectives both by choosing interesting props and location. Of course; had we been indoors she would have done more with clothing, but the light and “crispiness” in the air outside a cold winter morning made the photos a bit more magic to us. We are so glad that we listened to Tammy´s advice to do the shoot outside. These photos will be used on greeting cards, as gifts to family, and as posters on our own walls. They are incredibly sweet and lovely, and are memories for life. I want to recommend this lovely photographer to everyone I meet.

Tammy was easy to work with, very good at communicating throughout the process and following up afterwards. She made us very comfortable during the shoot, was thoughtful and patient, even though there were some inevitable delays when our little one was wide awake or hungry. We went to Tammy’s home studio for our little girl’s first photo shoot just two weeks after her birth. Tammy created a wonderfully friendly, relaxed and calm atmosphere that felt like a real oasis when we were so exhausted and emotional adjusting to our new life with a newborn! Tammy used the pauses to set up her next shots so there was minimal waiting around time. Tammy couldn’t have been more accommodating in letting my visiting parents tag along and she captured some beautiful photos of our little one with her grandparents – especially valuable as our family lives so far away. All the finished pictures are beautiful and we had a hard time choosing our favourites. The prints, USB stick and albums were carefully and beautifully packaged – and ready in record time despite all our extra requests. We’re delighted with the results and are hoping to return to capture more precious future milestones with Tammy.

Our kindergarten has official photos taken every year, and we used Tammy for the first time in 2014. She was just wonderful. Our previous photographers have really rushed things, but she took the time to relax each child and as a result all the photographs show happy, natural, smiling children. I was really worried when booking the shoot knowing that my little one is not an easy baby being awake and bothered a lot, but I also didn’t want to wait any longer since babies change and grow so quickly. What a wonderful experience! It’s been such a pleasure to work with Tammy… we met first when I was pregnant and she took the most wonderful photos of my tummy. It was the first time I was in a photo shoot and I thought I would feel quite awkward and self-conscious. But in 5 minutes it was clear that this would not be the case. She knows how to make you feel comfortable, how to take the most beautiful pictures without making you feel that you are acting… everything felt so natural and the final result is just perfect. Two months later I came back, this time without a belly but with a gorgeous baby and his father. Tammy had infinite patience to get the perfect pictures of the three of us. The whole family (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents) went crazy about them and they are now decorating each of their homes. You just can’t stop looking at them and showing them to everybody.
